MMm, indeed. Westons is nice cider, agree there.

Old Rosie Scrumpy  is so far my favourite scrumpy that I've tried, But again, that's also Westons so I'm not too surprised.

One day I'm going to get both english dry cider and swedish 'cider' and mix it 50-50 or so.

You discover: Norwegian Cider (?)

Well Depends on the "Swedish" cider.  Currently, Kopparbergs and a few others aren't "cider" but "Alkoholhaltig dryck av Cider-typ"   Which means that you need an alcohol-serving license  ( It's not covered under beer/Cider license)  due to that it's basically a sweet Apple-wine brewed to obscene amounts of alcohol and then diluted with carbonated water.  *shiver*

Kiviks (astakan) however make a quite nice, medium-sweet and Sweet cider.

Any norwegian 'cider' is the sweet and carbonated kind -- if it can be called cider at all  =-|

Being a dutch student, I've had my share of beers. But Cider, don't think I've ever had the pleasure (?) of drinking one. They aren't that common here in the lower lands I think.

You need to goto an english or irish bar then.

Might I recommend:

The Fiddler and Firkin in Den haag, I used to work there a long time ago, it was very popular so i have no worries that it'll have disappeared.

The Abbot Arms in Leiden, might still be there you never know.

That said... Dutch lagers >>> English Lagers. English Ales reign Supreme and Real English cloudy Cider/Perry actually is quite nice even if you can't stand the other regular stuff.

I think the one cider I mostly consume is Crowmoor's dry apple. Its not the best there is but its cheap and quite tasty :p There was some really nice english ones I tried ages ago which actually tasted very apple-y but my memory fails me.
