Apologies for posting this without first speaking to your Leaders, I just wanted to get the ball rolling and put the cards on the table.

Well now to introduce myself, I'm Apollya a Paladin Tank, JCer Extraordianaire and also the Guild and Raid Leader for Combustion.

We're currently a Mount Hyjal / Black Temple Raid Guild. With just Archi left in MH and steady progress being made in BT.

My members keep hassling me for raids to SSC/ TK / Maggy / Gruul. Kael'thas / Vashj in particular as many would like attunement quests completed. The problem I have is taking time to goto attempt these would also take up value progress run time.

So I thought, Why not contact Dark Tide, Illumination, Apocalypse, Legion of Lemmings, Malicicous and Citadel and look into organising some form of weekend funrun to one or more of these venues.

The idea being that whilst the majority of end game raiders have their attunements and rings etc I'm sure some of your recruits and raiders do not. This could be a great way of all teaming up for some regular fun and also advancing for your members and obtaining the rings for them. Obviously with the nature of Kael'thas and Lady Vashj this is not intended as alt wipe-funruns. but these can also be arranged if there is enough interest.

Anyways the propasal is here on the table, I'll leave it for you all to discuss.

We've had interest from already 30players and more from Combustion will be available. We're also still waiting to hear from Frogs of War.

An Update for you!

We're very oversigned on ranged DPS (Warlocks in particular - But that's a good thing for Vashj and the Kiters).

We still Need:
3 Healers - 1xHoly Priest, 1x Resto Druid and 1x Resto Shaman Preferred.
2 Melee DPS - Retridin / MS Warr / Rogue would be Awesome!

Should you make a crack at Gruul, you got yourself a Ret Paladin for that.

I died too much at Vashj to want to go back.

The Problem is anyone and their uncle can PuG Gruul or Magtheridon and succeed. And there are already many Alt runs setup from other BT/MH/SP raiding guilds, as well random PuG's like Onyxia used to have.

The idea of this was to do something different and push the goals and boundaries forward a step.

We had an over-signed raid and actually whilst we did wipe a lot and unfortunately didn't manage to down her we all had a lot of fun and we did manage to get rid of 4 cores (except the strider group had sadly died). As anyone that has fought Vashj knows it does take a fair amount of tweaking and practise from all involved.

For a PuG I think it went pretty well and I'm going to be posting more raids to try Kael'thas and Vashj again.

Gah Noes! Teh pain. As you say you died so much at Vashj / kael to want to go back, which I do understand, believe me. Personally i see no challenge at all in Gruul / Magtheridon, so I do not wish to go there. Raiding has to present some form of challenge else it becomes a non-entity or boring and people start to slack or make mistakes, personally I give 100% to everything I do raid wise but I fear for gruul / magtheridon I may struggle to deliver this level of committment. :P

By all means feel free to setup your own Gruul / Maggy Funrun, If you lack a tank feel free to poke me and providing I'm free  / it's not interfering with other plans I've made i'll gladly come tank for you (Or can bring doomkin, Hunter or Spriest). But please please stop with the Gruul responses, else you r force meh to crai kek.

Let's just post the links to the runs then, if peeps want to sign up they will, don't think we need to have a discussion on which is the better instance for whatever reason.
