Sock-pairing?  well, seems like you have a great pair there ;)

Personally, I don't care to pair my socks, though I often try to pick two socks that may look at me from 3+ meters distance, not looking directly at the socks.

Giraffe will help you look like a giraffe, tall and slim, hippo will make you look like a hippo, short and fat.. decide which you want!

As for the socks, I don't think they'd fight.  The giraffe's eyelashes clearly demonstrate that it's a lady, or at the very least a cross-dressing herbivore.
