Title: Forum slow loading
Post by Trichara on 01/10/08 at 23:05:31

I know lately a lot of you have noticed the forum taking an age to load. Unfortunately it seems that recently there have been a spate of DDOS attacks on my host which has resulted in this problem. They have not posted that there is an issue currently though so I have opened a support ticket to see if they are aware of the problem and when it's likely to be fixed.

Sorry for the inconvenience until it's resolved.

It put on a few pounds of Xmas turkey but seems ok now. The guy replied back very apologetic, they have still been having problems with the Atlanta data centre that hosts them but they were working on it when I poked and it seems to be rectified.
