Comment: I really love it, it was a cool idea, and the random ecchi-ness spiced things up. I was VERY disappointed when the anime just stoped at 25, the story would have lasted for atleast 50 episodes... I still haven't given up hope for a second season...

Furi Kuri
Furi Kuri is pure weirdness. Its also the kind of anime that you either love or hate. I consider it pure genius.

Fullmetal Alchemist
My favourite anime. Two brothers on a long journey to find the philosophers stone.

Full metal panic? Fumoffu
I really didnt like the original full metal panic which had way too much mecha. This one removed the mecha part, and made it a lot more fun instead.

Grave of the fireflies (movie)
Story of two orphan siblings and their lives in japan during world war II.

Could post 50 more here but ive just finished uploading Hajime no Ippo on Veoh, 76 eps and 2 movies, take a look and give it a chance.

You do have to like sports animes to enjoy it though, I am a huge boxing fan, so yeah, liked it a lot :)

I'm kinda picky about that kind of stuff, I like it new and fresh!

You should, im no sports anime fan trust me, but i happened to see the movie at a friends house wich i actually like. after that i started looking for the series and i gotta say a 76 eps show with maybe 5 fillers is pretty nice, though it might help if your a boxing fan as myself / poster above.

Im amazed no one has recommended Ghost in the Shell yet, gotta be some of the best anime Ive ever seen, both the series and the movies.

Greatest animated film ever made.

It seems there are more suckers for love stories lurking out there, i'll just go ahead and suggest on of the greatest anime series of all times (in my opinion naturally) Ga-rei: Zero, very well made, all the characters looks great, the plot is also miraculous. It could also be a good idea to read the manga which serves as a continuation on the anime.
